AT the first sight of springtime sun, it feels totally appropriate to put away all my winter make-up and break out everything is my cosmetic’s kit that makes me feel like sunny days are on their way. I never thought I’d experiment again with blue eyeshadow after a few disasters in my teens, but suddenly a slick of pastel blue across my lids is looking fresh for spring. I’m teaming this with emerald greens and highlighting with a touch of gold in the inner corners of my peepers. Any pastel-type look has to be finished off with an inky splash across the lashes, and make-up pro Mary Greenwell uses Sensai’s volumising mascara on all her celebrity clients. Lash Unlimited eyelashes are a budget-busting £2.50 (although you have to purchase glue separately but a tiny bottle always lasts ages) leaving you with that perfect flutter. OK, so it might be raining 90% of the time, but I swear I saw some sunshine this morning, and if I channel the spring vibes, maybe the summer time will come more quickly. Clockwise form bottom right:
