EUROPEAN architecture was the inspiration behind Zoe Jordan’s AW2013 collection at London Fashion Week.
It’s a subject she knows a lot about, having studied it prior to launching her label in SS2012.
Of the collection’s creative starting points, she said: “European architecture – stark minimalist monochrome interiors vs. Duomos (Cathedrals) of renaissance Italy.”
And continued: “Travel, interiors, music, art, the street, the bus – inspiration can evolve from anywhere! I am passionate about contemporary art and am always on the hunt. Recently I bought some photographs by a young Chinese artist and my latest exciting find is Noémie Goudal, she is going to be big news.”
Zoe Jordan AW2013 LFW
Zoe, who opened London Fashion Week, created a stunning collection of ultra-wearable pieces featuring graphic lines, splashes of bright orange, beautiful prints, and croc-embossed pieces.
One of our favourite looks was a a black and white dress, long-sleeved, high-necked dress which could slot straight into our wardrobe quite nicely.
Another stand out was the metallic suit in a green/rosy toned hue.
Definitely one to watch.
