MARKING one of the most exciting collaborations to come about in years, cosmetics powerhouse MAC have teamed up with visionary designer Gareth Pugh to create a range of make-up and accessories.

Last Friday fashionistas gathered in Marylebone in London to mark the launch of the highly anticipated collection. Guests included the fashion designer himself, Mary Charteris, Peaches Geldof, Lisa Moorish, Jade Parfitt, Otis, Isaac and Tara Ferry, Holly Fulton, Bay Garnett, Mark Fast, Louise Gray, Bip Ling.

The range embodies the essence of the designer’s futuristic aesthetic, with primal shades and couture packaging in keeping with his underlying edge of edgy darkness and attitude.

To celebrate this creative partnership, Gareth Pugh and fashion film maker Ruth Hogben, created a short film, that illustrates the truly versatile collection that goes from strong, deep and mysterious to light, fragile, and ethereal.

The clip, above, shows off Gareth’s vision for this collaboration whilst showcasing his alien-goth superfuture idealism that he infuses into everything he does.
