JOSEPH Gordon-Levitt has signed up as the lead role in Sin City sequel, A Dame To Kill For.Â
The actor has been snapped up for the film-noir flick directed byÂ Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, based on Millerâs graphic novel.
The role was originally offered to Johnny Depp.
He is now out of the running to take the lead role of Peter QuillÂ in Marvel Studios’Â Guardians of the Galaxy, a film which follows a futuristic team of superheroes protecting the galaxy from danger.
Gordon-LevittÂ willÂ be at the Sundance Film Festival later this month premiering his directorial debut of a feature-length film.
The talented chap wrote the script and also stars in the flick, titledÂ Don JonâsÂ Addiction,Â with Scarlett Johansson.
Gordon-Levitt has appeared in a stellar in line-up of movies in the past including Looper, Inception, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, Mysterious Skin and 500 Days Of Summer.
