LOOPER is a new futuristic film about a group of assassins who murder men sent back to the present from the future.
The trailer is lead by a solemn voice telling fans: “Time travel has not yet been invented, but thirty years from now, it will have been.”
Joe, (Jospeh Gordon-Levitt) lives the high life of a ‘looper’, a specialised assassin who murders hooded targets, who are sent back to the present by criminal organisations, in a specific place at a specific time. He eliminates the targets from the future without question.
There is one rule: never let the target escape. But what happens when that target is you? The you of the future? Cue ‘Older Joe’ played by Bruce Willis who refuses to be killed.
Rian Johnson’s Looper is set to be a thrilling sci-fi action with an all star cast including Emily Blunt.
Looper is out in cinemas on 28th September, and watch the trailer, above.
