LISA E Moss’s new Spring/ Summer 2013 collection breathes a rock aesthetic (and just a hint of swagger) into summer.
Here at Pillow Mag, we’ve had a long-term love affair with Lisa E Moss’s jewellery.
So, when she invited us to attend the launch party of her new Spring/ Summer collection, it was a night we definitely weren’t missing.
The new Narrative: Kings Of The Wild Frontier collection encapsulates Lisa’s signature style: strong, sexy, and tough with a feminine edge.
With what Lisa herself describes as “a punk aesthetic with a gentleman’s swagger”, the new collection is the perfect addition to any “summer in the city” wardrobe.
As ever, Lisa’s eye for detail is there: tiny gem stones adorn otherwise hard rings and bangles, and tiny fine chains drape gracefully between pieces.
Despite an abundance of chains and studs, the pieces are all incredibly wearable. So much so that the necklaces look perfect with the simplest of t-shirts – or draped across hot summer bare skin…
“This collection was inspired by those that wear my jewellery,” Lisa told Pillow.
“The client, the customer, the creative, the innovator, the artist… Those that are on the front line of their industry… The kings of the wild frontier.”
It’s no surprise, then, that Lisa’s jewellery is no stranger to a famous wrist or neck. Robbie Williams, Fearne Cotton and Leona Lewis are all fans of Lisa’s stand-out designs.
The launch itself was a feast for our senses – homemade cocktails and a dance performance as the sun sets over south London is how we want to spend all our Friday nights.
We’ll be wearing Lisa’s pieces with cropped tees, frayed festival jeans and maybe a feathered headdress….
